Effective immediately, purchase orders are no longer required to purchase Red Wing boots; however, the fully completed Red Wing voucher remains a firm requirement (Note: A PO is required for online purchases).  The employee name and ID number on the form should be for the employee who will be wearing the boots (not the branch manager or authorizer).

Red Wing safety shoe purchases for 2018 will now appear in the Branch Manager’s Riskonnect dashboard to allow for ease of tracking and monitoring Herc Rentals’ shoe policy.

In the U.S., Herc Rentals has two authorized safety boot suppliers:

• In-store purchase:  Red Wing - Voucher only, no PO, no P-card
• Online purchase:  Lehigh Outfitters - PO required, no P-card

Once the voucher is completed and approved, take it in to the store. Red Wing does not ship and has no online order capability at all. If the Red Wing shoe truck goes to the branch, you can also give them the voucher to order the shoes.
